In 2008, Davis Struempf Funeral Home and Crematory hired us for their expansion and renovation of the existing business, adding 2,500 Square foot of space and a new crematory unit. We also performed a partial renovation of the existing building adding a New Director’s Office, replacing carpet throughout, refinishing and painting all of the interior walls, and adding new amenities such as new office cabinets and storage units. In remaining flexible and in keeping with our values of quality construction and quality assurance, we were able to coordinate our schedule with the owner’s schedule and complete the interior renovation with minimum interference with their ongoing business. The addition included the demolition of asphalt paving, concrete curbing, exterior wall surfaces, electrical fixtures, and the rerouting of plumbing and electrical utilities. The new construction included security fencing, temporary facilities including a temporary construction trailer, grading, excavation, concrete footers and slab, wood framing, roofing, HVAC, electrical, plumbing, installation of a new crematory unit, insulation, drywall, finish carpentry, painting, tile flooring, carpet flooring, ornamental steel railing, exterior stucco walls and trim, asphalt paving, exterior concrete sidewalks, and concrete curbing.
